Graphic Designer, Tattoo Artist, & Musician
Sarah Snider is a Brooklyn-based creative working across graphic design, tattooing, and music. Her creative practice reflects a long-standing interest in visual art, technology, and sound practices.
Growing up, her father—who worked as a web designer—introduced her to HTML, CSS, and basic graphic design after noticing how much she enjoyed creating graphics and layouts on Neopets. That early encouragement sparked a lasting curiosity about design and technology. It also taught her to take initiative and learn new skills.
Sarah later was invited to attend Oberlin College with their largest scholarship, where she studied Technology in Music and Related Arts with a concentration in Studio Art. After graduating, she moved to NYC to pursue work in both design and music. During the day she worked as a graphic designer, while teaching herself tattooing in her spare time.
By 2019, her distinctive fine-line realism tattoo style had attracted a large following on Instagram. The growing demand eventually led her to leave her graphic design job and focus on tattooing full time, though she continues to maintain a strong love of design.
In 2020, Sarah became an Artist-in-Residence at Performance Space New York with her collective Brujas. During the residency she launched Radio Bonita, creating the project’s full visual identity and branding.
Alongside her work in design and tattooing, Sarah has remained active in music as a keyboardist, DJ, and composer. She continues to blend visual art and sound into a creative practice that spans multiple mediums.
